Keshet Master Plan & Phase 1 Design

Keshet Center for the Arts is a non-profit serving the greater Albuquerque area since its founding in 1996. Rooted in dance, mentorship, and a welcoming space for the arts, Keshet’s mission is to activate community and foster unlimited possibilities through education, engagement, innovation, and the pursuit of justice.

This Master Plan revitalizes the existing campus and adapts it for new uses.

Phase 1 includes refurbishing the HVAC system in the Main Theater and converting Studio 1 into an experimental performance space. The east wing will be transformed into a multi-use area featuring an expanded green room, newly renovated restrooms, and apartments for artists in the residency program.

Future phases include the construction of an outdoor rooftop performance area and a resident courtyard, featuring landscaped gathering spaces and a therapeutic spa.
