EXPERIENTIAL MAPPING
We have experience in theater, production and museums. This experience has supported the design and planning of many unique experiences including Performing Art Centers, Museums, and Zoos. They take a special understanding of various technical aspects including special systems and acoustics. This design technique can help guide the intended experience for visitors.
Experiential mapping is the process of visualizing and analyzing a person’s journey through a space, service, or story by charting what they do, feel, think, and perceive at each moment.
In design (especially immersive, themed, and architectural work), it means:
- Mapping sequences of experiences over space and time
- Identifying emotional highs/lows, sensory inputs, and decision points
- Aligning spatial, narrative, and operational elements to support a desired feeling or outcome
